Photo privacy & help

Your photos and AI
Choosing photos in Make My Picture sends a small copy to Cloudflare Workers AI to suggest the main subjects. You can change that suggestion. This check does not create artwork or use a picture-generation credit. Photo subject suggestions are Built with Llama 3.2, hosted by Cloudflare. Model license. Recast Me stores only a photo fingerprint and suggested category for caching and abuse prevention, not the analysis copy. Provider processing is subject to Cloudflare’s policies. Your original photo is still used when you request artwork.
“Use my photo as-is” skips Workers AI. Cloudflare Images prepares a JPEG print copy without a generative edit or cropping, removes embedded metadata, and watermarks the preview. Private storage and product processing still apply. Photo uploads have a separate daily abuse limit; they do not consume AI render credits.
When you choose Create Preview and give permission, Recast Me sends your selected photos and written descriptions to the approved image generator for your request: Cloudflare Workers AI or, when enabled, fal.ai running Google’s Nano Banana image model for High Quality (or an explicitly selected comparison model). The selected generator processes these inputs to make your personalized artwork. Provider processing can involve temporary data retention under that provider’s policies. Recast Me stores customer photos and artwork in private Cloudflare R2 storage; Cloudflare Images processes previews and print files. Changing generation hosts does not authorize using customer photos for advertising.
Only upload photos you have permission to use. Results can change faces, markings and details. Check your preview before choosing a product. Customer photos are not used in our advertising without separate permission.
Previews and orders
Customer previews have a watermark. Clean digital files require an eligible paid digital purchase. Physical fulfillment uses the selected clean artwork. Shopify processes checkout and order information. Printful receives the artwork and delivery information needed to produce and ship a physical order.
Keep private artwork and order links to yourself. They provide access to your Recast. Use Save / share watermarked preview to share the image without sharing your private link.
Family-friendly content
Use photos you have permission to use, including permission from the people pictured. Do not submit nudity, sexual content, child exploitation, graphic violence, hateful or harassing content, or explicit profanity. Do not use someone’s image to embarrass, threaten, or sexualize them. Requests may be blocked; we do not automatically blur prohibited photos or disguise prohibited wording.
Text checks and image-provider safeguards are imperfect. When additional image screening is enabled, photos and generated images are sent to OpenAI’s moderation service before proceeding. If that configured check cannot finish, the request stops. Automated screening can miss prohibited content. A safety check is not a guarantee of legality or permission. You must own or have permission to print and sell submitted artwork, including any logos or other protected material.
X photo requests are public. Only attach a photo you are comfortable having displayed in a public reply and have permission to share. Product requests create previews, not physical orders. Purchases always require your checkout confirmation. Reply “stop” to opt out of automated responses. Never post your address or private order links on X.
Storage and deletion
This browser keeps your six most recent successful Recast references and private access links. Clearing browser data can remove access to them. When preview allowances are enabled, a browser cookie and a salted network identifier help manage credits and prevent repeated free-trial resets.
To delete an unpaid Recast, open its Track this Recast / downloads page and choose Delete this unpaid Recast. Paid artwork may need to be retained for fulfillment and order support. Automatic deletion after a fixed number of days is not currently promised.
In the iPhone development app, My Recasts saves only watermarked preview copies on the device. Removing a local copy does not delete its server artwork or cancel an order.
Optional website analytics
We use first-party, aggregated traffic measurements to improve the website, understand popular adventures and see whether visitors reach product previews and checkout. When allowed, your browser stores a random ID for up to 30 days and a short session ID. The server immediately converts them into approximate aggregate counts; it does not retain the IDs, IP addresses, full referring links, photo contents, private Artwork IDs, email addresses, typed descriptions or payment details in analytics records. Counts are approximate, may exclude privacy-conscious browsers and detected bots, and are not proof of a purchase.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are respected. You can disable optional analytics for this browser at any time; this does not affect your ability to create art, use existing credits or place orders. Shopify maintains separate store/checkout analytics under its own terms.
Need help or report content?
To report prohibited content or a rights concern, use the support options below with the artwork reference and a description of the concern. Do not send explicit images or private access links in public messages.
Visit Orders & support for shipping, order-status, change, and damaged-item guidance. You can also contact @RecastMeAi on X with a general description of the problem. Do not post your private order link, access token, address, payment information, or unwatermarked artwork publicly.
